I’ve had the pleasure of working in magazine media for the past 30 years, from my beginnings with a sporting goods publication to my time as president of a company that produced trade shows and magazines in the fine art and framing industry. Most recently, I was publisher of SLM Media Group, a role in which I oversaw operations for a multifaceted media company with three publications, including St. Louis Magazine. During my 15 years with the company, I launched one of those publications, Design STL (formerly St. Louis At Home); introduced new revenue paths as the company became more digital; and developed event concepts that were later adopted by city magazines in other markets. I also served a term as president of the City & Regional Magazine Association (CRMA).
